Job summary
Closing Date : 17th AprilHours per week: 3 hours per week- 8am-9am Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays
Location: Abergele Conwy
Rate of pay: £12.70 per hour
Task and duties, to include any or all of the following:
To work with the client flexibly across prearranged days of the week and engage with activities as specified by the client and carer.
To encourage the client to get up and dress independently.
To encourage the client to make their breakfast independently.
To encourage the client to make their packed lunch independently.
To encourage the client to arrive at work/CLC on time.
To encourage the client to walk to work/CLC independently.
To be aware of the client's wellbeing to ensure the client remains safe and well at all times.
There is no need for personal care, but some light meal preparation may be required in the client's own home on occasion.
THE CLIENT HAS A SEVERE NUT ALLERGY AND CARE MUST BE TAKEN WITH REGARD TO FOOD.
To work with the client to enable achievable independence and empowerment where possible and safe to do so.
Any other duties not mentioned but that fall within the scope of this role should be discussed and then mutually agreed.
Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

Establish a professional standard of care which should be maintained at all times.

Respect the privacy of the family and uphold confidentiality at all times.
Be trustworthy and kind.
Be punctual, reliable and have some degree of flexibility, with a view to possibly undertaking overtime.

Bear in mind that the role is one of empowerment for the service user.
The role is dependent upon a DBS and 2 references.
