Position: Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time)
Salary: £12-£13 per hour (dependent on experience)
Location: Derby
Qualifications: Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in food hygiene (essential)
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for children
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
- Follow food safety regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations
- Support with inventory management and stock rotation
Requirements:
- Passion for working with children and promoting healthy eating habits
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Flexibility to work part-time hours
