Job summary

I'm an artist (drawing, textile art, sculpture), immersed in creativity and contemporary art, and with a deep love of the natural world. Also a writer (fiction/non fiction/poetry). My career was as an arts educator and mindfulness teacher.

I also enjoy hand stitching and textile art. Houseplants and gardens. Politics, psychology, philosophy. Buddhism, spirituality, meditation. Being in nature. Listening to podcasts on any of these.

I have chronic fatigue syndrome.

* The role will require applicants to push me in a wheelchair, so they need to be physically fit enough to push me (I'm average BMI for my height (5ft 7) and get the chair up and down 7 external steps.

* I have lots of food allergies and intolerances and am on a special diet to correct certain health issues. So, all meals have to be batched cooked from scratch and cooking is a huge part of the role. So, any applicant needs to be a confident, resourceful and creative cook.

**Work Schedule and Pay rate**

Self-Employed PA hourly rate is currently £13.50ph weekday and £14.70ph weekend.

The role is 2x lunchtime shifts per week 12-2pm and 1x mid-PM shift per week (3-5pm) I can offer some flexibility with times to fit in with other work/school-run etc. A total of 6 hours PW. There may be more shifts available later in the year.

Days: Applicants must be available to work either a Saturday or Sunday (their choice). If they wish to, they can work 2 weekend days and 1 weekday. Otherwise they will work 1 weekend day and 2 weekdays. Weekdays - Wednesday Thursday Friday (their choice).

I am immuno-compromised and clinically extremely vulnerable, which means I must minimize the possibility of contact with Covid-19. Applicants will need to be aware of the risks that vulnerable people still face and have high standards of personal hygiene and care. They will wear a face mask at all times whilst working. LFTs are done before each shift. Vaccination, however is not a requirement.
