Class 2 HGV Driver Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Class 2 HGV Drivers. The ideal candidate/s will be responsible for transporting safety barriers and small plant machinery between PO Postcode and Kent, with occasional deliveries to surrounding areas. This position requires the ability to strapdown loads securely using ratchet straps.
Class 2 HGV Driver Shifts including:
Day- 07:30 16:00
Night- 18:15- 04:00

Class 2 HGV Driver Key Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle.
* Strapdown loads with ratchet straps to ensure safe transportation.
* Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
* Deliver safety barriers and small plant machinery to designated locations.
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Class 2 HGV Driver Requirements:
* Valid Class 2 HGV license.
* CPC qualification.
* Previous experience with strapdown loads using ratchet straps.
* Excellent driving record.
* Ability to work flexible shifts, including day and nighttime.
* Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
* Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks associated with the job.
* Knowledge of Portsmouth and Kent areas is preferred
