The Role
* Manage a team to deliver asset, building, land and property advice and services to and on behalf of clients
* Set out, manage and review team objectives in line with company business plans and strategies taking pride in and full ownership of the standard of work, financial and team performance, and client satisfaction
* Develop strong working relationships with both external clients and stakeholders, and your own team, holding regular meetings to report on key milestones and acting on feedback and suggestions to drive and improve service scores
* If required provide ad hoc assistance on more demanding or challenging projects, to deliver high-level strategic advice, resolve complex or sensitive issues and seek financial and operational gains
* Monitor and ensure team time recording and client reporting requirements are met, maximising billing and taking responsibility for meeting and exceeding financial targets, whilst always maintaining gross margins
* Provide supportive line management, holding regular constructive one to ones, empowering individuals by recognising achievements, and encouraging feedback and effective delegation, whilst also being able to hold difficult conversations if necessary
* Display clear commercial awareness and contribute to team and company growth by generating work from new and existing clients through networking and cross-selling of the companys professional services
* Lead by example, actively promoting the companys ethos and culture, and always engendering positivity
* Actively support and participate in company groups, initiatives, events and social activities
* Maintain and improve your own expert knowledge and skills through company-run and specialist external CPD
* Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, contractual and organisational requirements and policies in your own area of responsibility
The Person
* A proven track record of experience in a similar role, and holding MRICS, AssocRICS or CAAV
* Experienced in leading a team in the delivery of wide-ranging projects across various sectors.
* Possess a full UK driving licence.
* Be a positive team leader with a can-do attitude.
* A natural problem solver who enjoys delivering results within competitive environments
* Enjoy engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
* Keen to dispense your team, client, and commercial management skills.
* A natural team player and team leader, with a can-do attitude and an interest in developing others around you
* Ready to explore new ideas, offer innovation to demanding clients and project scenarios, and be able to take on this challenging and rewarding role
