Location: Hybrid Working (Sunderland HQ)
My client is a rapidly growing organisation offering business consulting services to the global business community. As part of their exciting growth plans, they are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to increase their client portfolio across a range of sectors.
The Role
* Identifying and concluding new sales opportunities across the UK in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, oil & gas, and engineering sectors
* Developing and nurturing your own leads
* Uncover clients business challenges and identify relevant business opportunities
* Managing the sales process end-to-end, including commercial negotiations
* Providing first class customer-focused approach
* Attending conferences and networking events as and when required to support the needs of the business
* Efficiently and effectively process assigned opportunities into sales
* Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects
* Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
The Person
* Exceptional track record of acquiring new business both SME and enterprise
* Experience of using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology
* Ideally from a professional services, consultancy, software background or sector exposure in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, oil & gas, or engineering
* Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers, and colleagues
* Excellent telephone, online and face to face presentation skills
* Strong desire to be part of a team that delivers our customers breakthrough results
* Ambitious to develop their career further within the organisation
* Experience of using a consultative, solution-based methodology when engaging with prospective clients
