Westin Par is working with a brand leading, international manufacturer/assembler who have a rare opportunity for a dynamic, dedicated professional to join their SMT as the Operations Director.
If you have proven experience as a senior leader in an assembly based environment, then this could be the role you are looking for.

The Role:
* Oversee the daily activities of the operational team assembly, purchasing, supply chain and quality - to ensure customer requirements are met in an efficient and timely manner.
* Develop plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
* Manage stock and inventory with finance, purchasing and supply chain.
* Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and achieve organisational goals.
* Implement new ERP system.
* Promote and enforce the highest standards of quality and on-site safety.
* Assist GM in setting goals to promote company growth.
* Execute plans designed to support company growth.
* Make a pro-active contribution at Management Team meetings.
* Review and improve existing systems and policies.
About You:
* Proven experience in a similar senior leadership role, preferably within manufacturing.
* Demonstrable experience delivering operational efficiencies and business improvements.
* Experience of strategy development and implementation, budgetary control and hands-on operational delivery.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
* Commercially astute and customer centric.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
