Role Overview: As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate and competitive estimates for shopfitting projects. This is a hybrid role that involves a blend of on-site and office work, requiring excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for shopfitting projects.
* Collaborate with the project management team to understand client requirements.
* Conduct site visits to assess project scope and gather relevant information.
* Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to create comprehensive estimates.
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and pricing.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as an Estimator within the shopfitting industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs.
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Proficient in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
