The Requirements:
- Be an ECT or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching in your desired specialism or key stage.
- Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team.
- Possess the passion to have a positive impact within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist teachers in the development of lesson plans and classroom activities.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment.
Support classroom management and assist with behaviour management strategies.
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of childrens progress.
Collaborate effectively with teaching staff, parents, and other professionals.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or a similar role in an educational setting.
Relevant qualifications and certifications in education or child development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
