TeacherActive are delighted to be seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 / KS1 teacher to join our community of inclusive mainstream Primary Schools in the Exeter area. You will experience a range of different year groups across Key Stage 1 / KS1 whilst building strong relationships, rooted in mutual respect, with pupils and staff.
The successful Primary Teacher will be confident teaching across Key Stage 1 / KS1 and have experience teaching Phonics and early maths. You will have a clear understanding of barriers to learning and demonstrate the ability to adapt your teaching to include those with special educational needs by differentiating appropriately. You will also have good understanding of the different pedagogical approaches, adopting and demonstrating them in your practice.
In return, the successful Primary Teacher will have the opportunity to work with fantastic and supportive teams, on a day to day, short term and long term basis.
The successful Primary Teacher will have:
QTS (ECTs are also welcomed)
Clear rules and routines for behaviour management
Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum
Brilliant communication skills.
