Are you a driven and ambitious individual ready to take on the challenge of driving sales and business development in the dynamic Oil & Gas sector?
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and requirements.
- Account Acquisition: Identify and secure new accounts by developing strategic sales plans and organising sales call schedules.
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates by studying P&ID, project plans, and customer documents, consulting with technical personnel as needed.
- Drive Improvements: Analyse cost-benefit ratios and propose changes in equipment, processes, or materials to enhance customer operations and drive efficiency.
- Customer Engagement: Gain customer acceptance by effectively communicating cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Order Management: Submit orders by collaborating with technical support staff and costing engineering changes as necessary.
- Compliance: Stay informed about local legal requirements and advise customers on product, service, or equipment adherence to regulations.
- Reporting: Prepare sales engineering reports by analysing sales information and engineering trends to drive informed decision-making.
- Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to the overall sales effectiveness by identifying and addressing short-term and long-range issues, providing valuable insights, and implementing directives as part of a collaborative team effort.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
- Technical aptitude to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts to customers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
