We at SWG Group seek a seasoned Senior Site Manager to join our dynamic team, leading projects with historical significance or Grade 2 listing in the Wrexham area.

The Role

We're in search of a seasoned Senior Site Manager adept at overseeing construction projects of historical significance. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the project, ensuring its completion within budget, on schedule, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee, organise, and direct on-site construction activities from inception to completion.

* Coordinate and supervise a diverse team of subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour.

* Uphold compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

* Develop and maintain project schedules, ensure milestones are met, and adjust plans as necessary.

* Monitor project costs and budget, implementing cost-saving measures as required.

* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration.

* Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings to identify and address any issues or delays.

* Prepare and submit project reports and documentation as required

Essential Skills and Qualifications

* Proven track record in managing large-scale refurbishment projects with historical significance or Grade 2 listing

* A minimum of 10 years experience in construction site management

* Relevant construction management degree or equivalent qualification

* Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices

* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project, RedSkyIT, etc.)

* SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

* CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cardholder

* First Aid at Work qualification

* Full UK driving licence
