**Pay Rate:**
**Days- £14.65ph 06:00 - 18:00 (Inclusive of holiday pay)**
**Nights- £17.00ph 18:00- 06:00 (Inclusive of holiday pay) **
**Job Description:** As an HGV Class 1 Shunter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our transportation services. Your primary responsibility will be the efficient and safe movement of heavy goods vehicles within our premises. This includes shunting trailers, conducting vehicle checks, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Shunting trailers within the yard or designated areas.
* Conducting pre-operational checks on HGV Class 1 vehicles.
* Collaborating with warehouse and transportation teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Reporting any defects or issues promptly.
* Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
**Requirements:**
* Valid HGV Class 1 license.
* Proven experience as an HGV Class 1 Shunter.
* Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently.
* Flexibility regarding working hours.
