Job summary
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant or a HLTA looking for work this term? There is a fantastic opportunity at a brilliant Stockport Primary School located in SK2 starting immediately. This position will be working with a child in Year 4 in a 1:1 capacity, who has slight behavioural issues. The role is a long-term, full-time role and the competitive pay rate will be £76 to £90 per day, depending on experience.The role will be predominantly offering tailored support to the child and to ensure that he focuses on his classwork and limit the distraction of other pupils. This could include the use of brain breaks and learning walks, including setting boundaries and developing a positive educational relationship with the child. Previous child-based experience is required and if you have previously worked in KS2 classes, that would be a bonus. You should be a charismatic, resilient and friendly individual with clear communication skills and a driven personality.
