At Protocol Education we are currently looking for a resilient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work full time at a well established SEN school in BD3.

This school is a specialist primary provision with children between the ages 4-11 all with moderate- severe Learning and physical disabilities including social and emotional needs, Autism, hearing, visual, physical and other health needs not requiring daily medical intervention . This school aims to encourage independence at all times with a spotlight on communication to enable all students to communicate any and all needs and wishes to others inside and outside of a school setting.

About the role:

Our SENTeachers duties can include:

Working with small groups of pupils
Providing intervention support
1:1 support for SEND and lower ability pupils
The ideal applicant will have:

Some experience of working with children or in a school (Not essential)
A real passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
Have a passion for working with children with adverse backgrounds
Creativity for stimulating and engaging pupils
Some knowledge of basic core subjects
