Full-time (35 hours per week)
£39,462 - £42,609 per annum
Poplar HARCA is an award-winning Housing and Regeneration Community Association in East London.
We focus on providing homes and support to residents old and new; helping to create a place where people, communities and businesses can grow and thrive. With our partners, we are currently leading an extensive place-shaping programme for Poplar, attracting £2.5 billion investment to regenerate, build and create opportunities.
We are currently looking to expand our newly-created Research, Development and Transformation team with an additional Information Systems Developer.
This role will give you exposure to the full solution stack and project management life cycle. You will work closely with the Business Support and IT teams to develop enterprise solutions for our customers, suppliers and the wider organisation.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who keeps up-to-date with the latest and ever-changing technology. You will be comfortable working and collaborating with the team as well as working on your own to provide the best solutions. Agile and collaborative working with other software developers (both internal and external) is also a must. You will scope project requirements, research new solutions and build on existing systems.
Essential skills:
Achieved under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Created and used web services/APIs
Developed MS SQL Server/ MYSQL/ Progress Databases
Managed and delivered technological projects
Used Business Intelligence systems (e.g. Business Objects)
Worked with .Net Program Experience
Worked with Visual Studio (VB.net, C#) Object Oriented Design principles
Git and source control familiarity
Competence in JavaScript
Desirable (not essential) skills
Experience of cloud solution such as AWS, Azure, google
Working with housing management systems (e.g. Orchard Housing System)
Integration of communication channels
Frontend development framework, such as vue.js, Angular or React.
.Net Core familiarity
