Overview
A fast-paced and forward-thinking legal business, situated in South Manchester with a modern and vibrant Head Office, is seeking a People and Culture Assistant to join their team. Key Responsibilities:
Acts as the liaison between the People Team and other departments, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Assists in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
Conducts research and analysis on HR trends and best practices, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Coordinates training and development programs for employees, including scheduling, logistics, and follow-up.
Collaborates with the IT department to streamline HR processes and optimize the use of HRIS.
Supports diversity and inclusion efforts by assisting with diversity recruitment initiatives and organizing awareness campaigns.
Manages employee recognition programs to celebrate achievements and promote a culture of appreciation.
Assists in the planning and execution of company events and social activities.
Conducts ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the People and Culture Business Partners. The Ideal Candidate:
A proactive and adaptable individual with a passion for HR and people development.
Possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working towards or completed CIPD Level 5 qualification is preferred.
Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is an asset but not required.
