Up to £40000 + Car Allowance £5K + OTE £70K-£80K + Benefits
Leading IT Services provider to the Public Sector are looking for 2 Account Managers (field based) to manage existing partnerships whilst bringing on new clients through existing framework agreements.
To apply the successful candidates will need to be within the IT industry and have experience working with public sector clients across local government markets.
The Account Manager role is a hybrid position and will be provided with a number of existing business partnerships to nurture further and will be part of a larger sales team.
Whilst the role will be targeting existing partners the successful applicant must be new business focussed and demonstrate determination to build new contacts, meeting clients face to face and provide expert guidance on your vendor product sets.
To apply the successful Account Managers will require the following:
A minimum of 4 years' experience selling IT technology to the public sector.
Reseller or Manufacturer experience also considered if from a public sector background.
New business approach with experience bringing on new business contacts.
A clear understanding of working with a range of IT Services preferred.
Full driving license
The Account Manager will work from a large database of customers as mentioned and will be required to be in the office or on site 3 days a week and attend vendor training when required.
