SEMH & Challenging Behaviour Support - BroadstairsSchool Behaviour Buddy!
Empowering Learning is working in partnership with local schools in the Borough of Kent. The schools are looking for candidates who can support pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health & Challenging Behaviour. This role will consist of shift work.
An experienced Behaviour specialist will be confident in building rapport and trusting relationships in order to progress learning. This role involves working closely with class teachers and the local authorities to implement a tailored learning approach where required.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have a passion for education and SEND or anyone who has worked with young offenders. The schools have experienced teams already in place and can provide additional training and development before you start.
They are happy to look at applicants with personal experience or as a parent who have an understanding of SEND.
In order to be considered for this role you need to:
Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
Have previous experience of working in a UK Primary/Secondary School
Previous Teaching Assistant experience within the last 6 monthsIt would be an advantage, not necessary, if you have previously worked in:
SEMH / PRU settings
Youth Work
Police or Army
Sports coaches and mentors
