Job summary
We are currently looking for a passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a specialist alternative provision as soon as possible.The school is based in the Fareham area and is a specialist school for boys with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Staff at the school ensure that our core three values, Respectful, Responsible and Ready to Learn resonate throughout our school community to ensure successful outcomes for all.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working with children of special educational needs. Due to the nature of the students a patient, caring and compassionate approach is needed. You need to be flexible, energetic, and ideally have experience of working with children with social, emotional and mental health needs. However, training will be provided for the right candidate. This role could be suitable for a candidate with an interest in pursuing a career in teaching or learning support. Full time - Monday to Friday (no weekends)
Hours 8:30am 3:30pm
£11.85 per hour
Location - Fareham
