Job summary
Simple Recruitment are looking for a Customer Service Advisor for a permanent opportunity with our client in Bradford on Avon.The Job:
As Customer Service Advisor, you will be joining a growing, family-owned business which is well-established in the industrial sector. You will represent the organisation with a high degree of professionalism, ensuring an excellent standard of customer care and service delivery is maintained.
Your role will support the sales administration office by taking and processing customer orders, as well as coordinating the hire function of the business.
You will undertake a range of sales administration duties, and key responsibilities will include:
* Acting as first point of contact for calls and enquiries
* Developing and maintaining an excellent knowledge of company products and services
* Generating order reports and status reports on outstanding orders
* Providing quotations and following up as required
* Processing sales orders
* Creating invoices, credit notes and taking payments
In supporting the hire function, key responsibilities will include:
* Confirming customer requirements and price information
* Keeping track of live hires and managing the returns process
* Processing hires and liaising internally to ensure fulfilment
* Maintaining and updating accurate records
The Salary:
Up to c.£25,000 per annum (dependant on experience)
The Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm (37.5 hours per week)
About You:
You will have a strong background of experience in customer service, sales and administration. You will be able to work to a high degree of accuracy and compliance, have strong communication and organisation skills, and will be able to build positive relationships with stakeholders. You will share our clients commitment to providing excellent customer care, and will be able to work well as part of small team. Experience with export would also be highly advantageous.
