We are a recruitment agency collaborating with numerous Care/Nursing homes in the United Kingdom. Our aim is to enlist proficient and experienced temporary contractors in the Healthcare care sector, specifically as Chefs. Joining our team, you will contribute to delivering catering services within these homes, catering to service users with diverse and complex care needs, including those with Dementia. We provide attractive hourly rates, flexible work schedules, and weekly pay.Role and Responsibilities:
* Overseeing the preparation and cooking of food to meet quality standards and presentation guidelines.
* Creating and developing menus that align with the culinary theme, dietary requirements, and customer preferences.
* Orchestrating kitchen operations, overseeing staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring a seamless workflow.
* Maintaining high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation through rigorous quality control measures.
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing proper sanitation practices, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
* Exhibiting adaptability and flexibility in response to evolving culinary trends, customer preferences, and seasonal ingredients.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction through consistently delivering high-quality, flavourful, and well-presented dishes.
* Effectively managing time to synchronize the prompt preparation and delivery of food, particularly during peak service periods.
Ideal Candidate:
* Must be hard working and Honest.
* Must be catering or food hygiene certificate.
* Must have previous experience as a cook or a chef.
* Must hold a valid DBS.
* Be confident and able to engage with others.
