This exciting full-time position is available for an immediate start and will extend until the end of the academic year.Position Details:
Role: Full-time Teaching Assistant (1:1)
Location: Fantastic school in Pocklington
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Salary: £80 - £90 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)Responsibilities Include:
Providing tailored support and assistance to an individual student, ensuring their educational and emotional needs are met.
Implementing strategies outlined by the class teacher to facilitate the student's learning and development.
Building rapport and maintaining a positive relationship with the student to foster a conducive learning environment.
Assisting with classroom activities, including preparation and organization of materials.
Monitoring and recording the student's progress and behavior, communicating findings to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborating with the teaching team and participating in meetings and training sessions as required.Requirements for 1:1 Teaching Assistant Role:
Relevant experience working with students in an educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students' learning and well-being.Requirements for Working with Tradewind:
Valid DBS on the update service.
Minimum of two appropriate and satisfactory references.
Comprehensive CV detailing full career history.
