Job summary
Kinect Recruitment are excited to be working on a Telecoms Contract project where we are looking for individuals to work as a team or existing teams to work as gangs of Cabling engineers and Rod and Ropers. This will include intrusive surveys.Duration 6 - 12 months ongoing.
ONE MEMBER OF THE TEAM MUST HAVE K008 ROD AND ROPE QUALIFICATION AND ALL MUST HAVE SA002 UNDERGROUND SAFETY
To be considered for the role you must have previous experience and ideally current up to date qualifications within the telecoms industry and a clean driving licence with less than 3 points.

Intrusive Surveyors (Test, Rod & Rope Engineer)
6 - 12 Month Contract
Working on a rate card engineers can earn from £700.00 up to £2k a week. (paid weekly)
Van, Fuel Card and all kit provided

Kinect are looking for field-based Cable Pullers to assist proving the fluidity of Fibre network, positions are available nationwide.
Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to be trained on PON surveys, Orion, S11 & S13.
The roles will include but not be limited to:
Test Roding and Roping of UG Ducts;
The identification of traffic management requirements;
The identification of tree cutting requirements if works are OH;
The production of SLDs on successful completion of tasks;
The creation of accurate A55 documents;
Reading an understanding Microsoft Word/Excel/PDF based Job Packs;
Reading and understanding BT Duct diagrams;
Working in confined spaces;
Working outdoors in all weathers.
Suitable candidates must be willing to:
Travel to and from various exchange locations on completion of works;
Work to PON completion deadlines to ensure operational requirements are met;
Work in confined spaces;
Be flexible with regard to working hours;
Attend accredited training courses if required;
Be computer literate and after training be able to understand network plans;
Be customer focused, well presented and polite;
To undergo a DBS check (formally CRB).
Suitable applicants must have:
Test Rod and Rope Experience
Full UK manual driving license held for a minimum of 12 months;
Previous experience of working on the Openreach One Fibre Network;
NRSWA Accreditation;
Computer literate and the ability to use a tablet device
