Job summary
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Worcester. As a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance, breakdown coverage, and repair of plant and machinery on-site. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.Responsibilities:
* Provide electrical and mechanical maintenance, breakdown coverage, and repairs to plant and machinery on-site.
* Attend to reactive breakdowns and repairs promptly and effectively.
* Proactively identify and implement improvements to operational machines and tooling through effective planning and machine analysis.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the department.
* Carry out Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and effectively utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for maintenance activities.
* Conduct fault finding and repairs on plant machinery.
Experience and Knowledge required:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
* Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a factory processing-based industry.
* BTEC HNC/HND or NVQ Level 3 qualification in a relevant field.
* Good understanding of maintenance process activities.
* Safety-conscious with relevant Health and Safety Training, including Working at Height, Confined Space, and IOSH (desirable).
