Job summary

An opportunity for an Ecotoxicology Study Scientist or researcher to move into a desk-based risk assessment role with a successful chemical risk assessment consultancy. Ideally you will have experience in GLP ecotoxicology studies and be interested in moving to the next stage using the study data for regulatory affairs and risk assessment. Full training in chemical regulatory science will be provided a rare opportunity.

This team are experts in chemical risk assessment; they enable their global clients to effectively manage the risks posed by chemical to the environment and human health, and to fulfil their legal obligations under regulations such as REACH and CLP. You will be exposed to an ongoing training programme in REACH and chemical risk assessment, you will start working on challenging and interesting projects from day 1 and there is real opportunity to develop deep expertise and to move up through the company.

We are looking Ecotoxicology study scientists who would like to move their career to the next stage regulatory affairs and risk assessment. Ideally you will have a lower degree in chemistry, biology, toxicology ecotoxicology or similar subject, ideally a higher degree (MSc/PhD) along with experience in a GLP CRO environment in any aspect of ecotoxicology. A good understanding of how the studies are conducted is essential along with desire to move into regulatory / risk assessment. You must have strong written and verbal communication skills, versatility and the ability/desire to learn quickly.
