Job summary
Purpose of JobResponsible for day-to-day management of New Product Introduction, either bespoke customer or catalogue/roadmap, from project scope definition and specification, until full series production. Responsible for managing the project scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality, and resources.
Job Responsibilities
* Driving the fundamentals of project management
* Delivering against Business opportunity project mandate.
* Leading and motivating the team to achieve:
* Work closely with the cross functional teams to ensure key objectives are prioritised correctly.
* Monitor and report progress, managing risks and focusing on cost adherence.
* Ensure Stakeholder Satisfaction by guaranteeing clarity of information exchange, professionally and in line with the business expectations /goals.
* Work in conjunction with engineering, sales, operations, and quality teams to deliver finals solutions to manufacturing.
* Occasional Client / Suppliers visits may be required.
* Assist in the preparation of department key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Participation in the continuous improvement of the associated processes.
* Any other reasonable duties, as requested by your manager.
Qualifications
* Formal Qualification in project management or previous project management experience.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects successfully in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
* Engineering degree level qualification preferred or other relevant university degree.
* Experience in electrical / electromechanical / motion control systems is an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and able to drive through improvements.
* Methodical working style and sense of responsibility.
* Ability to deal with conflict and teamwork.
* High ability to communicate internally and externally.
* Experience working MRP systems is an advantage.
* Self-motivated, both in a team and independently.
* Dynamic approach to motivating others.
* Computer literate essential.
* Able to communicate (written & verbal) clearly and effectively in English essential
