Field Sales Solutions have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Senior Insights Analyst!We are a leading field marketing company, and we represent the fastest growing confectionery company in the UK Ferrero. Whilst you will be employed by Field Sales Solutions, you will be assigned to work for one of our largest clients Ferrero. Ferrero is a rapidly expanding FMCG Company that encompasses iconic brands such as Ferrero Rocher, Kinder, Nutella, Tic Tac, Thorntons, and Foxs biscuits.
The Senior Insights Analyst role sits within the Commercial Insights group and is responsible for driving insights to support achievement of the business objectives of the Ferrero Field Sales team across channels to market. You will play an important part in driving sales through the identification of opportunities to expand brand coverage and availability.
In return for joining us as a Senior Insights Analyst, we can offer you a competitive salary of £40,000 - £45,000 p.a. (DOE) + Car allowance + benefits.
Location: Field Sales Solutions Head Office Thame, Oxfordshire
Hybrid model working role requires 3 days office attendance weekly.

What will you be doing?
As the Senior analyst in the team, you will role model analytical capability and will pro-actively delve into EPOS/Field captured data and ROI modelled data sets to draw out new insight nuggets.
Make strategic recommendations based on your analysis of key channel projects to drive ROI for our client.
Supporting Field Channel Heads by delivering operational reports containing actionable insights on KPIs that help steer execution of the day-to-day business priorities.
Helping to drive profitable sales growth by making recommendations on where to focus Field Sales activities to drive the greatest return, based on analysis of Field activity performed in channels to market.
Using daily stock and sales data to identify stores that have no or low sales, to help direct the Field in the most constructive way.
Using a variety of sources (i.e., Market Data, Consumer Data, Trade Information and internal data collection from the field team) to create compelling selling stories for channels/customers and leverage the breadth of data available.
Active participation in Field sales meetings to contribute to shaping the collective success and enhanced business performance of Ferrero and Field Sales Solutions.
Supporting key promotional marketing activities and providing analytical wrap ups along with strategic recommendations to drive improvements towards future sales initiatives.
Sharing good news selling stories for the client, leveraging analytics on performance successes, to drive positive engagement within the client's retailer account teams.
Regular Field visits within retail channels to ensure consistency in ways of working between Field Execs and Field Operations.
Liaising with the Data team to identify changes to support ad-hoc reporting requirements and revisions to core commercial reports.
What you will need
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (experience of pivot tables required) and PowerPoint.
Good head for numbers (A-Level Maths or above preferable), with a commercial sense for interpreting these.
Experience of turning large data sets (ideally using EPOS or other volumetric sales data sets), into concise, actionable, recommendation-based Insights.
Data curious, excited to find those golden nuggets!
Attention to detail.
Adept at distilling complex data points from various sources, into visually appealing simple messages suitable for sales associates.
Able to present meaningful and actionable insights to the client based on analysis performed in a credible way.
Story-telling skills to translate numerical performance into positive success stories.
A sense of urgency, able to work to deadlines and manage own workload.
A full clean UK driving licence.
Live within reasonable commutable distance to Thame in Oxfordshire.

Experience of working within FMCG (Field Sales experience)
Power BI experience an advantage
