About the Role
To deliver DfT approved training syllabus for aviation and maritime approved training syllabus and to include any ad-hoc Securitas training requirements.
Keeping full and complete training records for all learners and Security Operatives to ensure they are effective in their roles, meeting all regulatory, legal, Securitas and Aviation entity requirements.
Ensuring all training materials meet the CAA Quality Assurance Framework.
To continuously improve the standards and performance of the Security team, with the support of Supervisors, Team Leaders and Duty Managers in monitoring Security Agents to ensure compliance with all DfT, airport & maritime regulations, whilst ensuring the highest level of customer care.
To design and deliver DfT training syllabus to enable all Security Agents to deliver a compliant security process.
To update the SOP's and any other manuals appropriate to Securitas.
The development of the DfT training syllabus and to implement measures contained in the CAA Quality Assurance Framework, also which may include measures contained in the Securitas Aviation Security Programme (SASP)
To take personal responsibility for ensuring that all operational procedures are delivered to agreed guidelines and legislation and to keep abreast of all changes to legislation and compliance requirements contained within the relevant publications issued by the DfT and CAA
To follow new DfT legislation that will assist the operation and enable Security Agents in meeting new legislative requirements.
To work with the Station Manager, Duty Managers, Team Leaders and Supervisors in the development and implementation of quality strategies, policies, procedures and KPI's to support a "continuous improvement" environment across the Security operation. Teaching Qualification equivalent to Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET)

Formal / Informal Training for Assessment
Formal Training for Quality Assurance - IQA level 4 qualification
RFX certification Additional * Relevant Aviation Background is essential
Relevant maritime background is desirable
UK/EU citizen or valid work permit

Experience of facilitating coaching and personal development in a multi-site commercial environment on an on-going basis

Ensure health and safety legislative requirements are met such as PPE requirements and health & safety awareness to ensure any slips, trips and falls are reported through the HSE reporting process.
