The Digital Marketing Executive will take a lead on the marketing performance, strategy, and growth of the business e-commerce sales platform. The primary challenges will be to maximise growth opportunities together with the return on digital spend within this channel.
The Role
You will be responsible for the online merchandising of products and optimising customer journey to improve conversion rates and online KPIs.
Develop and manage best practise of digital marketing activities including PPC, SEO, content, and email marketing.
Reporting daily/weekly/monthly/annual trade against digital spend, providing detailed analysis of key business drivers, and producing actions plans to ensure sales and contribution targets are met.
Understanding of key competitors and customer behaviour.
Collaborate with key stake holders to plan an e-commerce trading calendar, deliver, and report on all promotions and content activity.
Annual budget proposals for the e-commerce channel and with digital proposals in other brands.
The monitoring of the e-commerce channel marketing budget.
Digital marketing strategy for all business routes to market.
Social Media content creation and management for the e-commerce sales platform to generate engagement, brand awareness, likes, shares, and purchases.
Communicate with followers and key repeat customers, with a view maximising sales or marketing opportunities.
Monitor and report on e-commerce customer reviews.
Assist the e-commerce commercial team with website copywriting.
Stay up to date with digital trends and report opportunities for further investigation.
Collaborate the marketing team on other key projects.
The Person
Essential:
Marketing or business-related degree or CIM qualification.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar eCommerce / digital marketing role
Analytical with strong reporting skills, an advanced Google Analytics / AdWords user
An understanding and experience of implementing e-commerce and digital marketing strategy.
Excellent communication skills
Highly self-motivated
B2B and B2 Consumer experience.
Photoshop / Illustrator user.
