We are currently seeking a skilled Freelance Site Engineer to join our team for an exciting groundworks project in Tewkesbury. Job Description: We are looking for a Freelance Site Engineer to oversee the completion of commercial groundworks for a large construction site in Tewkesbury. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the groundworks package, including drainage, foundations, roads, and associated civil works.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage all aspects of the groundworks package for the commercial construction site.
* Conduct surveys, set out levels, and ensure accuracy in all site engineering activities.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
* Monitor progress and quality of work, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the project team as needed.
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on commercial groundworks projects.
* Strong understanding of groundworks construction methods and techniques.
* Proficiency in setting out and surveying using robotic equipment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must have a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or be willing to apply for one.
Salary: The day rate for this position is between £360-£390, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The successful candidate must supply their own equipment/robotic for site engineering tasks.
