Job summary

Amour Recruitment are working in partnership with a leading Training Provider in Wales, and recruiting for a Managing Internal Quality Assurer within the Health & Social Care sector. Salary on offer up to £28K Objective of the role To lead, motivate and develop a team of Assessors to drive performance and quality of delivery across all learning programmes in line with contract compliance, ensuring high quality teaching, learning and assessment for all learners.
Responsible for ensuring the company's Internal Quality Assurance and Performance Management processes are rigorous and leads to continuous improvement, improved learner satisfaction and success rates across the team. Specific part of the role Responsible for motivating and developing a team of Assessors to ensure learners have a positive learning experience. Effective team and caseload management; ensuring performance outcomes are achieved timely in accordance with the planned learner journey and evidenced in line with the contract and profile requirements. Responsible for the allocation of starts to assessors Responsible for managing the learner journey process Accountable for coaching and developing Assessors to achieve excellent in their grading Have an understanding of planned profiles each month, planning to ensure the profiles are achieved. Responsible for completing IQA reports with sufficient detailed to support and improve performance Responsible for managing, planning and completing observations of Assessors to ensure the IQA strategy is met Effective use of online platform to develop learner resources Develop and maintain relationships with third parties to ensure a positive image of the business is promoted at all times, inclusive of employers, award bodies, learners and key stakeholders Responsible for ensure vetting and monitoring activity is carried out in accordance with the stipulations of the Welsh Assembly Government Health and Safety Code of Practice Support and work with other key personnel in the assisting, organise and planning of SV visits; managing and plan standardisation activities; running of standardisation meetings and sharing best practice across all sectors Responsible for managing sampling and verification activities to improve the progression and achievement of learners and to ensure consistency across the team Responsible for ensuring that all IQA activities continually meet the needs of the learners, exceed the requirements of Awarding Organisations, Welsh Government, Estyn and the business Manage delivery models and other resources to embed a consistent and standardised approach to delivery Accountable for ensuring literacy and numeracy are embedded throughout the learning programme Accountable for ensuing Assessors
embed the cross cutting themes of Safeguarding/Prevent, ESDGC,
Wales the Language and Culture, Equality & Diversity and Health & Safety/Well-being Participate in and/or manage all aspects of EQA visits resulting in a positive visit Responsible for ensuring all staff are aware of developments in their occupational sector by way of self-study and research and CPD logs / records maintained Support the Contract Manager by identifying improvements to the IQA strategy through a processes of review to improve delivery and performance success rates Aid in the development of new qualifications
and gain centre/scheme approval when necessary Accountable for the development of resources and learning materials to support a wide range of vocational and learning needs. Ensure that the IV system is performed and maintained as per the NVQ code of practice Ensure compliance with Awarding body, QCA, Sector Skills Council, the NVQ Code of Practice Requirements and the JAB guidance on Internal Verification at all times. Maintain Award Body records as per the NVQ code of practice Responsible for the handling and escalating, as required, client / learner complaints Maintain knowledge and adherence to Work Based Learning Professional Standards, Education Workforce Code of Practice and companys Code of Conduct Apply for immediate consideration
