Our client in Betchworth is an attractive 50 bedded Nursing Home that is independently run and promotes the highest standards of care. The home is located in a quiet and pleaseant area with beautiful gardens. The beautiful 17th century house is home to a vibrant community who have frequent events organised by the dedicated staff.
They have an exciting opportunity for Care Assistants to join their passionate team of HCA's and SHCA's. We are looking for Care Assistants who have a passion and desire to care for others and work alongside a team of others carers to promote dignity and independence for all residents within the nursing home.
Key details
Both days and nights are available paying £9.00+ per hour. (DOE) The shifts are 12 hours long and both full and part time roles are available. Betchworth train station is only a short walk away and there is also ample free on-site parking.
Extensive training and support will be provided to Care Assistants from Senior Care Assistants and senior staff members. Full training and inductions will be a staple no matter the experience level of any new Carers joining the team.
Main duties for care assistants are as follows:

Providing personal care such as toileting, washing and dressing
*
Manual handling, using equipment where required
*
Assisting with food and drink
*
Promoting residents' health and wellbeing, enabling them to live their life to the full
Desirable:
*
Previous experience as a Care Assistant within a care home
*
NVQ's within health and social care.
Hours:
24, 36 or 48 per week (alternate weekends) (Day + Night positions)
