Job summary

Job Overview: Our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, are looking for a Quality Manager to join their established and successful team.

Remit:

* An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join a forward-thinking injection moulding manufacturer servicing a wide range of industries.

* This position will suit a Quality Manager with good people management skills and experience of quality management within an injection moulding manufacturing environment and paying particular attention to Quality systems / quality legislation.

* The successful candidate will ideally have an injection moulding background and be fully conversant with Quality Engineering, Management and Systems tools and techniques.

Role:



* The overall control of shopfloor Quality activities and Quality inspection personnel.

* Responsibility for the Quality of production output

* Issue and control of Product Quality Specifications and ensuring the compliance of production parts to specifications

* The preparation and presentation of Key Performance Information to key Managers and Directors.

* A hands-on role requiring good communication skills, as liaising with customers, suppliers and internal departments is a key part of this role.

Experience:

* Proven quality management and leadership skills within a manufacturing background.

* Excellent knowledge of injection moulding manufacturing processes

* Experienced working with ISO9001:2015 accreditation

* Be fully conversant with SPC techniques and able to use a range of measuring equipment

* Experience with PPAP, PSW, 8D, ISIR and 5s would be a significant advantage

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

* Able to positively influence others

* Be an enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skill

* Excellent communication skills
