Position: Technical Advisor / Project Manager Location: London Type: Contract (within scope of IR35) Duration: 6-12 Months First Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Technical Advisor / Project Manager for our Engineering/ Highways client in London. The success ful candidate will need to be proactive in their approach to achieving Third Party engineering solutions on time and within budget to meet the Task Order requirements, including reporting, risk mitigation, issue resolution and realisation of opportunities to out-perform. Utilises digital, innovation, value driven solutions (VDS) and creativity within the Task Order to support an appropriate engineering validation and verification process. Proactive in their approach to manage risk based Third Party designs to time, cost, quality, sustainability and HSSW targets in accordance with Task Order objectives, including Third Party performance reporting and resolution/escalation of risk, issues and opportunities. The role will involve the technical assurance and design coordination of the respective Statutory Undertakers designs with other Third Party assets affected by the project in line with the DCO. Proven ability with production management and lean processes to implement and realise out-performance of success factors. Accountabilities:Provide technical support to ensure the engineering outputs from Highways England, Technical Partner,
Third Parties and supply chain meet the programme outcomes;
Engineering, construction interfaces and phasing requirements;
Third Party design, construction and handover risk and issue reduction;
Technical Partner assurance sign-off;
Engineering validation and verification, auditability and status throughout the programme lifecycle to Design Fixity 2; and
Engineering reporting.
Lead Third Party relationships to ensure the desired Task Order outcomes are delivered safely, sustainably and to the required quality; Project & Contract management; Design fixity 0,1 and 2 outputs; Schedule Performance; Budget Performance; and Requirements compliance.
