POST Recruitment are recruiting for a Content Manager to join our client, a highly successful, growth-focussed media organisation based in central Leeds. The business has ambitious growth plans, in this newly created role the Content Marketing Manager will help deliver their marketing and communications strategy, as well as help build the companys brand, reputation and market-leading position.

The Role:

As an experienced Content Manager, you will work closely with other members of the marketing, CRM and sales teams to ensure activity is consistently aligned with the companys brand identity, visions and values.

Key duties and responsibilities:

* Play an integral role in delivering the marketing and communications strategy

* Create and oversee content plans for all outbound communications including email marketing campaigns, newsletters, organic social media, digital PR and blog posts

* Produce high-quality, engaging copy for all these channels, leading with an editorial mindset and possessing an ability to predict audience preferences

* Oversee the design and production of all marketing assets, as well as assets for paid social activity

* Support the senior leadership team in producing stakeholder communications and presentations, as required

* Work closely with the sales team, as well as the CRM Manager, to ensure assets and communications meet brand guidelines

* Work closely with the companys digital marketing agency to provide direction for SEO and PPC campaigns

* Assist the companys PR Consultant in creating high-quality press materials

* Be proactive in researching and reviewing industry news, insights and competitor analysis

* Support with the planning and delivery of events

* Maintain effective internal communications

* Work with the Marketing Assistant to oversee the scheduling of all organic social media, providing direction on monitoring and engagement across all social platforms

* Support the Marketing Assistant in planning all site and campaign photography

* Delegate tasks to the Marketing Assistant, as well as external agencies, and ensure deadlines are met

Your Experience:

* Experienced Content, Marketing or Communications Manager with around five years experience in either agency or in-house roles

* Exceptionally strong copywriting skills, with excellent spelling and grammar standards

* Proven track record of writing in an editorial manner

* Experience of managing brand and design projects

* Confident communicating with colleagues, clients, suppliers and stakeholders at all levels

* Pro-active, goal-driven and eager to build a market-leading brand

* Motivated, enthusiastic and positive in attitude, keeping the companys best interests at heart

* Setting, maintaining and inspiring high standards at all times

* Ability to manage time and resources effectively and efficiently

* Ability to learn and adapt fast

* Supportive of a culture that centres around creative-thinking and big ideas

* Ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and collaboratively

* A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of the connection between marketing, brand and the wider commercial world

£35-40k basic salary

Hybrid working with approx. 2 days in the office per week
