An exciting opportunity has now arisen at the South West International Development Network for a motivated and proactive self-starter to take up the brand new post of Outreach Projects Manager, working alongside the existing Network Coordinator (NC) at the centre of a vibrant and growing community of organisations working towards the SDGs in the South West, at a crucial time in the networks development. The post holder will develop and manage a two-year project, funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the UK government, to build the capacity of small CSOs working for international development in the South West. 25 hrs pw flexible working hours. This may increase at times, according to the requirements of the project. It is anticipated that set up in the first quarter will require more hours. Salary:

Remote working, pref in SW with occasional travel (Bristol, SW & London) The South West International Development Network (SWIDN) supports and connects organisations working across the South West, promoting collaboration across civil society organisations, think tanks, academics, consultants and the private sector with the shared goal of working towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SWIDN provides opportunities for networking, training, and knowledge sharing across the sector, and is currently staffed by a Network Coordinator, supported by an active Board of Trustees. SWIDN has a new vacancy for an Outreach Project Manager to drive forward an exciting new two-year project with a particular focus on smaller NGOs for development based across the South West. Working collaboratively with the Network Coordinator, the post holder will establish and manage a two-year funded project to build the capacity of small CSOs working for international development in the South West. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, educated to degree level, and will have at least two years experience of managing projects in an international development context, including experience of monitoring, evaluation and reporting. The post will be supported by a part time Finance and Operations Manager. The post will be based in the South West, with occasional travel required (Bristol, SW & London). Hours of work are flexible. The post holder is to be contracted for a two year period on a self-employed basis, and will be responsible for their own tax and national insurance.
