Are you looking for a short-term teaching contract?This opportunity enables you to work with KS3 students as their Humanities Teacher for terms 5 & 6 on a short-term contract. About the Role:
As a KS3 Humanities Teacher, you'll play a vital role in shaping the minds of secondary aged students as they explore the fascinating realms of history, geography, and more. Your responsibilities will include teaching KS3 humanities classes only. This position offers an excellent opportunity to engage with a diverse range of topics and students, fostering a love for learning that will extend beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities of Humanities Teacher:
* Deliver inspiring and interactive lessons in humanities subjects to KS3 students
* Provide engaging cover lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning in the absence of regular teachers
* Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies
* Support the academic and personal development of students, nurturing their curiosity and critical thinking skills
Qualifications required as a Humanities Teacher:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Humanities at KS3
* The school will happily consider Humanities teachers with a specialism in Geography, History or Religious Studies
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for exploring Humanities
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* The academy cannot offer sponsorship for this role
