This broker offers genuine progression opportunities too, so offer a great place for those that want fast progression as a reward for your successes!We are currently working with a small but perfectly formed broker near Brentwood in Essex, who are now looking to expand its team, with the appointment of a Commercial Insurance Account Executive. The team is currently made up of 5 staff and 2 Directors, with big future growth plans, and as much as its a cliché, it really is a great time to be joining them! They are keen to speak to those who want to work from their Essex office, as well as those based in Kent, Surrey or Suffolk, as they have plans to open a 2nd office which can be built around you!
They are a fast paced and forward-thinking business, who have grown substantially in a short space of time and offer fantastic commission, so this is a great time for career minded individuals to join them!
You will be required to target potential commercial clients to bring on board and show a strong understanding of your Business customers Commercial Insurance needs, with an experienced Account Handler supporting you! This broker currently deals with a lot of Construction, Liability, Property and Fleet business, and are interested in speaking to you if you have experience in these areas but are also keen to speak to those with experience in other classes/areas of business too.
They are looking for someone who can self generate to start, though there will be some clients to inherit from the off. You will also develop and maintain relationships, so the clients are retained by delivering a strong service to your clients. As you grow your book, they will then look to put in place your own dedicated Account Handler.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have a minimum of 3 years plus commercial broking sales experience gained in a similar role, having handled a good mix of commercial risks, and ideally have experience using the Acturis system.
You must be well organised, with a great telephone manner, and have the ability to produce results in a sales focused commercial insurance environment.
Base salary on offer is £40-65k depending on experience with monthly commission as well as a bonus of 10% after 1.5 times salary has been reached, of all income earnt. Hours are Monday to Friday 9am 5pm. Please note this is solely office-based role as they look to build a team, but they can offer some flexibility around working from home if needed.
