As a management accountant, you will be a part of the finance team supporting the business. In addition to providing the senior management team with the accounts, budgets and forecast, youll need to be able to understand how changes in operations affect the accounts and bring this to life.
It goes without saying that you will need to have a passion for all things numerical but you will also need to be confident, enthusiastic, and forward thinking.
This is a permanent contract, 40 hours a week Monday to Friday, based out of our beautiful farm in the heart of Devon, near Buckfastleigh. We encourage flexi time and hybrid working however, we ask that you plan to be on-site at least 2 days a week
Salary £29,963 plus, study package
Qualifications Required
* Part qualified in a professional accountancy qualification e.g. ACA/CIMA/ACCA with experience of working in a busy finance office
* Recent continuous professional development
Skills & experience
* Financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting and forecasting experience
* Experience of computerised accounting systems and software in a medium or large organisation.
* Ability to analyse and interpret complex data
* Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex information in an easy to understand manner
* Able and willing to work as part of a team, taking responsibility for own accountabilities whilst supporting and sharing knowledge with others to achieve company goals
* Ability to plan, organise and manage own work to meet deadlines
* Be able to not just identify issues, but work with the appropriate teams to resolve
* Strong Excel skills
