As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will be primarily accountable for a new construction/civils desk. This is a 360 role where you'll be given free rein to develop your own geographical patch nationwide.
Based in the company's Barnsley office, the Senior Recruitment Consultant will be responsible for the following activities:
* Recruitment for blue and white collar candidates within your own geographical area.
* Building new and maintaining existing relationships with many blue-chip companies.
* Visiting clients on-site to understand their full requirement.
* Advertising roles on job boards and social media (particularly LinkedIn) to attract suitable candidates.
* Pre-screening CVs.
* Interviewing prospective candidates.
* Arranging interviews between client and candidate.
* Delivering a high level of customer service to both clients and candidates.
* Negotiating salaries and closing deals
What experience does the Senior Recruitment Consultant need?
We're looking for someone who's got a background in either a construction/civils recruitment role within a recruitment agency setting.
In addition, you'll need the following:
- Exposure to the construction or civils sector.
- A superb sales ability.
- A hunger for success.
You'll also need to be the following:
- Self-motivated and have the ability to use your own initiative.
- Able to demonstrate your previous successes in billing.
- Someone who enjoys the buzz of closing a deal.
- Driven by the desire to earn a shed load of cash.

What can I earn?
This Senior Recruitment Consultant position offers a basic salary of £43,000 per annum.
On top of this, you can expect to earn a performance related bonus if you hit your targets (details of which will be revealed on application).
In addition you'll get other benefits which include the following:

* Company car/Car allowance £3k - £4k per year.
