Job summary
Are you a Music teacher available for work and interested in working at a large selective secondary school? Are you able to teach Music across key stages 3 and 4 and start after half term or following the Easter break?Tradewind recruitment are working alongside an inclusive and progressive academy to find a Music teacher available asap for the duration of the academic year to cover a long term period of sickness cover. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate music teacher to join the staff team and continue the impressive trend and ethos of improvement at the school. We are looking for an experienced Music Teacher able to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
As a music teacher here, you will have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of students and lead them in a variety of ensembles and extra curricular activities. You will also be responsible for developing and delivering engaging and challenging lesson plans that align with our school's curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in music education or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience. A proven track record of success in the classroom and experience working with students of all ages and skill levels is essential.
The successful candidate will have:
A degree in Music, teaching or relevant and recent teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum at secondary level
The ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons
The commitment to continue the schools journey in raising achievement and to create a passion for Music
Good organisational and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
