Full time
Our team are actively seeking a Maintenance Manager for a housing association on a full time basis. This position will be strategically focusing on delivering repairs and maintenance services to housing stock and delivering customer satisfaction.
Maintenance Manager Responsibilities:
You will be managing a team and be responsible for all people management responsibilities for a team of repairs operatives including but not limited to recruitment, performance management, sickness absence, etc.,
To provide technical property assistance to both colleagues and customers to manage a range of asset related requests, including the management of insurance claims, property quality inspections, technical guidance visits, home improvement requests and the management of disrepair and personal injury claims
You will undertake void property inspections to ensure we provide good quality homes for our future customers whilst reducing rent loss
Liaise with a team of operatives and contractors to deliver an excellent customer focused repairs and maintenance service delivery high performance levels in relation to customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, cost effectiveness and great colleague engagement
You will assist the Head of Property Services to manage the financial regional budget in relation to repairs and maintenance and void refurbishmentsMaintenance Manager Will Need:
Experience of leading a team of technical operatives to deliver an excellent service within repairs & voids management
Experience of managing an annual budget and delivering value for money
Supervising or managing maintenance work undertaken by external contractors
