Managing Quantity Surveyor / Commercial ManagerBridgend
£70k - £85k + package
Sphere solutions are currently recruting for an experienced managing QS, to join our client on a permanent basis. Their works includes mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and civils design, construction and installation of clean and wastewater treatment facilities and sewage pumping stations, together with maintenance services, highways and developer services works. Clients include South West Water, Thames Water, Welsh Water, local authorities and housing developers. Projects up to £20/£30m
The business has undergone significant expansion by securing several acquisitions and multiple long-term frameworks and therefore has an opportunity for an experienced SQS/MQS to lead a growing Commercial team.
The Role:
* The purpose of the role is to provide Commercial support and leadership on several frameworks and contracts across the business.
* The role will involve significant client engagement, providing leadership to a sizable division across multiple business units and working as part of the senior managerial team to grow the businesses works streams and geographical boundaries.
* The role is based in South Wales and offers further scope for career progression.
The Candidate:
* Degree qualified or relevant NVQ/HNC
* Ideally has civil engineering or water experience (clean or wastewater) around 8-10 years
* Full UK driving license
* Experienced with NEC forms of contract
* Solid commercial acumen, and client engagement within framework environment.
