Chase Taylor Recruitment are currently working with a well-established window and door furniture company who are looking to recruit a Junior Business Development Executive to join their team and help grow their sales within the North East and North West Regions of the UK.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who works within the industry who would like to try a career in sales and to earn good commission. The role:
* Junior field sales position, moving into a fully fledged targeted carrying position within 12-18 months
* Initially supporting an established project sales manager, in covering the North East and North West area
* Selling a range of multi point door locks into the door and window industry
* Targeting predominantly mid to large sized door and window trade fabricators/ manufacturers and retailers as well as social housing specification sales.
* Co-ordinating projects by involving support from head office as and when required
* Presenting business proposals
* Utilising leads from exhibitions and the database via marketing
* Learning and maintaining knowledge of Part Q building regulations
* Identifying and promoting new product development opportunities
* Actively promote our clients testing facilities
* Generate 3 x £50,000 new business accounts within trade fabricators, retailers, and social housing customers
* All training will be provided to help you reach your full potential
The candidate:
* Must have window and door / fenestration industry experience
* Have an internal sales backgrounds looking for first field sales opportunity
* Door and window fabricator, hardware dealer or architectural ironmonger backgrounds would all be of interest
* Knowledge of door hardware/ locking systems and composite doors would be an advantage.
* Have knowledge of technical regulations/ legislation
* Keen to learn and develop current skills
