Job summary
Accuri Business Solutions, on behalf of our client are actively looking to recruit a CE&I Engineer and would consider candidates from a more senior level for a 12mth Contract initially based in Warrington with occasional trips to Sellafield site.Our clients partner occupies a leading position within the UKs Nuclear industry actively contributing to global advancements and boasts an unparalleled expertise encompassing the entirety of the nuclear life cycle.
Role Purpose:
The Pile Fuel Cladding Silo (PFCS) is an aging storage facility on the Sellafield site. Work is underway to remove the stored material over the forthcoming years. There are many ongoing design tasks in support of the emptying process including provision of electrical supplies, lighting, process instrumentation and radiological monitoring. The existent design team requires an additional experienced design engineer to supplement the team.
Previous experience working in support of Sellafield plants is desirable though not essential providing that similar experience can be demonstrated. At least two years appropriate design experience is required. The work will be primarily delivered from the Risley, (Warrington) offices with some travel to the Sellafield site required.
The following attributes apply:
* Excellent written and spoken English & effective communication skills.
* General CE&I design skills, though not necessarily specialist in any particular element but with some electrical (power) up to 400V preferred.
* Established track record of working in a team with minimal supervision.
* Professional attitude and a can do approach to problem solving.
* Experienced in producing quality design deliverables (reports, calculations, etc) to schedule and reporting progress against them.
* Able to oversee and guide less experienced members of the team.
* Can liaise and coordinate with other design disciplines and plant personnel as necessary in the production design deliverables.
* Can support the CE&I design team in meetings and reviews.
* Designs in accordance with the IET 18th edition (BS7671)
* Conversant with existing CAE tools (e.g. Auto CAD, and ideally Amtech)
* Fluent in MS Office suite of programmes (Word, Excel etc)
