Role: SEN SpecialistLocation: Colchester
Salary: £60 - £100 Daily
Job Description:
Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students with SEN and determine their specific needs.
IEP Development: Create and implement personalised IEPs for students with SEN, ensuring goals are achievable and measurable.
Inclusive Practices: Advocate for and implement inclusive teaching practices that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
Training: Provide training and support to teaching staff on effective strategies for supporting students with SEN in the classroom.
Collaboration: Collaborate with parents, external professionals, and the wider school community to create a network of support for students with SEN.
Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
Relevant qualification in special education or a related field.
Proven experience working as an SEN Specialist, demonstrating a deep understanding of various special educational needs.
Strong knowledge of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
