Salary: up to £37.89 per hour
The University of Sheffield International College is seeking an enthusiastic educator with a passion for Business and Management and a student-centred approach to teach Accounting and Finance modules with the Business and Economics Team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Candidates are expected to be skilled in delivering teaching materials designed to prepare students for Management and Finance degrees (e.g., BA (Hons) Accounting and Financial Management, Business Management and Economics etc.). The post holder will be fluent in both written and spoken English with experience marking and administering assessments at a minimum of RQF level 3, along with a proven track record of delivering Accounting and Finance modules within UK Higher Education, Further Education, or Sixth form.
Candidates should be familiar with Virtual Learning Environments (e.g., Blackboard) and digital teaching tools (e.g., WooClap or mentimeter). Individuals who are capable of teaching related modules (e.g., Management, Economics, and Project Skills) with experience of teaching international students at RQF level 3 will be prioritised.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development, strong record-keeping skills, and flexibility in managing multiple priorities under pressure. If you are a team player with effective communication skills, who is able to work to deadlines, we encourage you to apply.
ABOUT YOU
* A Bachelor degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience (Individuals with a masters degree or working towards a PhD are encouraged to apply).
* Experience teaching Accounting and Finance disciplines, or a related field, at RQF level 3 or equivalent teaching experience
* Demonstrable success with marking and administering assessments, at RQF level 3, or equivalent experience
* Proficient use of IT for teaching administration.
