The role and school
Are you ready for your next teaching experience within a driven and welcoming Primary Academy within Blackley, Manchester? We are searching for a positive, enthusiastic and reflective Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a large team within the Two Form Primary Academy. You will be working and with and supporting a class in Key Stage 2.
Key Responsibilities
Support the classroom teacher with top quality assistance to ensure the educational experiences of students are fulfilled.
Help create a positive and comfortable environment for the class, whilst also monitoring classroom management and assisting with behaviour support.
Working one to one or with groups of students in the class who may need the additional support through various techniques of verbal and non-verbal communication methods.
Requirements
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
Have strong team-working and communication skills to work efficiently and effectively with a larger team.
