Job summary
Location: Nottingham NG9 1PJ - office basedHours: Full Time
Main Purpose of the Job:
Provide excellent customer service through effective communication as orders are received via phone calls and emails. Handle a high volume of activities and process information accurately whilst remaining disciplined and focused under pressure. Be able to advise customers about the products we sell and the services we can provide.
Some leadership experience or a desire to progress to a leadership role would be an advantage
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* Handle a high volume of customer enquiries via phone calls, email and through the web.
* Understand customer requirements and process orders accurately and efficiently to enhance the customer experience.
* Address customer questions regarding our products and services.
* Be compassionate regarding customer queries or complaints making every effort to resolve problems satisfactorily.
* Always strive to sell box quantities and any tools the customer may need for correct installation. This should be done appropriately and in an advisory and collaborative manner to keep within the companys ethos.
* Work with customers to minimise small orders and reduce the amount of deliveries to the same site
* Maintain accurate customer account details.
* Provide effective communication with customers, colleagues and 3rd parties to ensure successful outcomes with a Right First Time mentality.
* Provide support to your co-workers and complete working processes accurately and promptly as required.
* Have a positive attitude towards training & developing your skills, product knowledge and abilities.
* Actively participate in team meetings providing feedback and sharing learning opportunities.
Skills & Knowledge
* Awareness of the companys product range & An understanding of the MIDFIX values.
* Knowledge of generic business systems and processes including Profit+
* Excellent written and oral communication.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines while under pressure.
* Remain accurate and diligent with Problem solving initiative.
* Ability to overcome obstacles and find solutions whilst sometimes working independently and as part of a team.
* Able to multi-task, prioritise and manage your own time effectively.
* Ability to build relationships with customers through interactive communication & Confident in complaint resolution.

Desirable Skills
* Good understanding of MIDFIX product range & services.
* Proficient with Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
* Experience working in a customer support role or service.
